Pomex's tile and ceramic adhesive range covers single-component powder adhesives, two-component industrial formulas, and ready-to-use paste adhesives for tile, ceramic, porcelain and large-format slabs on floors, walls, concrete and drywall. Choose between powder and paste based on the tile, substrate and installation conditions. C800 paste is for surfaces without water contact; pool and facade applications require technical approval for the specific model. Prime concrete or old surfaces with Pomex concrete glue for maximum adhesion.

Guide to choosing the right tile adhesive
Powder vs. paste tile adhesive
Powder adhesive is cement-based, needs mixing with water, and offers higher bond strength and moisture resistance. Paste adhesive is ready-to-use, needs no mixing, and suits interior walls and fast installs.
Choosing adhesive for floors
For floors — especially high-traffic areas or parking — use a high-bond powder adhesive; paste adhesive is generally not recommended for floors.
Choosing adhesive for walls
For interior, drywall or plaster walls, ready-to-use paste adhesive installs faster. For exterior walls or facades, powder adhesive is still the better fit.
Porcelain and large-format slabs
Porcelain tile and large slabs need a high-bond adhesive due to their weight and low water absorption; the comparison table below flags the porcelain-specific models.
Pools and bathrooms
For pools, bathrooms and other permanently wet areas, choose a powder adhesive with high moisture resistance, and prepare the substrate with primer or concrete glue first.
Facades and exterior areas
For facades and other exterior surfaces exposed to temperature swings and freezing, use a powder adhesive with high thermal and moisture resistance.
